Internships
I have had two internships during my time at Clemson. I have learned so much from both and I am excited to keep learning in the future.
Emergency MD Intern
In 2023, I was a Medical Assistant Intern at an Urgent Care in Greenville. I had the opportunity to shadow different medical professionals and learn about the distinct roles each person plays in performing emergency care. I was able to triage patients, perform wound care, administer medication, and set up EKGs. I also learned how to chart a patient's records, file for insurance, and improve my bedside manner.
Disability Rights South Carolina Intern
Beginning in June 2025, I began working as an intern at DRSC. I work with attorneys, advocates, and other interventionists who strive towards a more equitable society for people with disabilities. DRSC ensures that people with disabilities know their rights and helps advocate for them when their rights are infringed upon. I learned about different government assistance programs, educational, and vocational rights for people with disabilities.
