Linguistic Proficiency
These samples showcase my ASL skills. The video on the left is a presentation on Educational Linguistics within Deaf Education. The video on the right is from a presentation on Variations in the Sign for DEAF.
Cultural Competency
Throughout my time at Clemson I have learned many things about the Deaf community and culture. These papers from Deaf History and Deaf Culture highlight some of the research and topics I have learned about.
Literature and Humanities Competency
These samples are from English classes that have challenged me and helped me grow as a student in tremendous ways. The left is a creative writing project from my Religion in Literature class where we explored religious themes in Science Fiction writing. The sample on the right is from my Medieval Literature class, where we explored gender roles and societal norms as depicted in King Arthur legend.
