Outreach Activities
I love being involved in things outside of school! Here is a highlight reel of some of my involvements.
Zeta Tau Alpha

I never knew I wanted to join a sorority growing up. When I came to Clemson, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! I have found so many lifelong friends through this organization and the connections I have made even helped me land an internship!
Big Man on Campus

Big Man on Campus is my sorority's fall philanthropy event where we host an all male pageant throughout October to raise money for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. I have participated in BMOC since my sophomore year working as a liaison for contestants, tabling chair, and Director this past year. Almost a years worth of work went into this past competition with our chapter breaking national records and raising almost $200,000!
Think Pink Week

Think Pink Week is my sorority's spring philanthropy event. During TPW, we host tabling events, a flag football game, and host Survivor's Brunch for Breast Cancer survivors. I served as the Director of Think Pink Week in Spring 2024 and had so much fun! We had a wonderful week raising money for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and celebrating the Survivors.
Clemson ASL Club

I have been a member of Clemson's ASL Club since my sophomore year. Going to club events has helped me practice my ASL skills as well as form connections with people in the local community and in my classes.
Clemson Homecoming

Every year during homecoming, my sorority partners with other on campus organizations to build a homecoming float. I always enjoy going to Bowman Field to help build the floats! Last year, I was on Zafety Team (Zeta Safety- we put a "Z" in front of everything) where I helped ensure everyone was following the safety rules and not getting hurt.
Emergency MD Intern

In 2023, I was a Medical Assistant Intern at an Urgent Care in Greenville. I had the opportunity to shadow different medical professionals and learn about the distinct roles each person plays in performing emergency care. I was able to triage patients, perform wound care, administer medication, and set up EKGs. I also learned how to chart a patient's records, file for insurance, and improve my bedside manner.
